Questions
Mail-in FAQ
When is the order deadline?
The cut-off date is confirmed ahead of each show. Get your order in as early as you can, the sooner the better.
Should I mail my items now or wait?
The sooner the better. We need time to prep every order before the show.
Where do I send my collectibles?

What shipping service should I use?
We recommend adding tracking and insurance when you mail memorabilia to us.
How much will return shipping cost?
Once your order is ready to ship back, we’ll email you with shipping options. Return shipping is at your expense.
What are regular and premium items?
Regular items are smaller or simpler: cards, 8×10 and 11×14 photos, pucks, baseballs, magazines, books, index cards, currency, hats, basketballs and soccer balls. Premium items are larger: jerseys, 16×20 or larger photos, rolled posters, trophies, equipment, numbers, sticks, belts, artwork, Funko Pops and boxes, McFarlanes and bottles.
Can you handle large items like hockey sticks?
Yes. We can handle large or odd-shaped items including sticks.
What’s an inscription?
An inscription is extra text the guest adds to your item, usually a career highlight: “HOF”, career stats, championships, awards, dates, “1st Overall Pick” and so on.
Is personalisation extra?
No. You can have an item made out to yourself or to anyone else at no extra cost.
Are there duties or taxes?
Orders mailed from within Canada have no extra duties, but taxes apply. Orders mailed from outside Canada may attract duties or tariffs both on arrival and on return shipment, and those charges are not our responsibility.
How long until I get my order back?
Roughly 2–4 weeks after the Expo, depending on the return destination and when we receive payment for return shipping.
How much are COA holograms?
Holograms are free and optional. Some collectors prefer not to have them on their items, especially cards.
What does “pen choice” mean?
Colour, brand and tip: fine, ultra fine, paint pen and so on.
Can I ship my own markers?
Absolutely. We’ll do our best to return them, but we can’t guarantee it. Write your name on them.
Can I use a PO box as my return address?
Yes. We usually ship Canada Post unless the price difference is significant or you request a different courier.
Can I drop off and pick up instead of mailing?
Not at this time. We need all orders in our possession before the show so we can prep them, and items can’t be collected on-site after signing.
Who do I contact about my order?
Email mailorders@sportcardexpo.com.
Coming to the show instead?
Autograph tickets are sold on-site. Check each guest’s day and pricing first.
